Born Harold Allen Barnard II on a cattle farm outside the quiet little town of Peru, NE., I was raised on old-school country like Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash, Charlie Pride, and the rest of the original outlaws. As well as a healthy dose of classic rock including Led Zeppelin, Jimi, Janis, Skynyrd, The Black Crowes, and many more.
My style comes out of the sounds and the songs that I grew up with. Many of my songs come out of real life experiences that I've had living the life of a broken down gypsy and road warrior year after year. Along the way, I've written songs by myself and songs with other people. I've got over 100 in my song book and am writing more all the time.
The last few years I've been with the duo Zygo & The Deuce. We put out some albums of our original country music. They turned out great, thanks in large part to a guy named Jim Salamone. He's the ringleader of Onaje Music. Check out his stuff and some of the amazing people he's worked with at Cambridge Sound Studios. But as life tends to go, good things only last for so long. Zygo & The Deuce parted ways in search of greener pastures.
Thanks to all the fans who took me this far. I'm excited about the future and I'd love for you to come along for the ride.
Country love,
